What do Orthodox Bahá'ís believe?

1) We believe just the same as all Bahá'ís believed before 1957 that the Covenant of Bahá'u'lláh requires obedience to the Guardian of the Cause of God. We believe the present Guardian is Nosrat’u’llah Bahremand.

2) Orthodox Bahá'ís have all of the Institutions of the Cause of God as set forth in the Will and Testament of `Abdu'l-Bahá, including the Hands of the Cause of God, and an international body with the Guardian at its head, the International Bahá'í Council which is destined in time to become the Universal House of Justice.

3) The Orthodox Baha'is, being under the shade of the Tree of Covenant are divinely guided and blessed. The "table of heaven is prepared" for them, "the angels of heaven" are their "assistants and helpers", and "the life of the Holy Spirit is breathing upon" them (from `Abdu'l-Bahá, Promulgation of Universal Peace, p. 214.

THE BAHÁ’Í FAITH UNDER THE GUARDIANSHIP

The Bahá’í Faith, under the Guardianship, is distinguished by the acceptance of the Will and Testament of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, the Son of the Founder of the Faith, as a divinely-conceived, sacred, immutable and immortal Document which delineates the essential Institutions of an unique Administrative Order which, together with the application of the Laws and Principles revealed by Bahá’u’lláh, constitutes the basis for the establishment of the World Order of Bahá’u’lláh and a future World Civilization.

This Order was established in embryonic form by Shoghi Effendi, the first Guardian of the Bahá’í Faith during a 36 year ministry. He had been appointed by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá in His Will and Testament, a Document which also provided for the continuity of this Institution as long as the Dispensation of Bahá’u’lláh endured through a succession of Guardians of the Faith each appointed by his predecessor "in his own lifetime." Sole interpretative authority of Bahá’í Holy Writ has been vested by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá in the Guardians who also serve as the "sacred head and the distinguished member for life" of the Universal House of Justice, the highest legislative organ of the Administrative Order and in this capacity provide "the necessary guidance to define the sphere of the legislative action" of this institution and insure that such subsidiary laws as are enacted by this body are in conformity with the immutable Laws revealed by Bahá’u’lláh in His Most Holy Book. Shoghi Effendi stated that the twin institutions of the Guardianship and the Universal House of Justice "supplement each other’s authority and functions" are inseparable and are "the twin pillars that support this mighty Administrative Structure."

Unlike sans-Guardian Bahá’ís who believe that the Guardianship ended with the passing of Shoghi Effendi, the Bahá’ís under the living Guardian believe that Shoghi Effendi appointed his successor, Mason Remey, in faithful compliance with the sacred provisions of the Will and Testament of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá and that only complete acceptance of him as the second Guardian and the "Center of the Cause" and, in turn, his appointed successor, constitutes fidelity to the Covenant of Bahá’u’lláh.

Dear Bahá’í Friends,

The Universal House of Justice has received your email letters dated 16 April and 16 October 2012 (refs. NSA.DEC.92/169 and NSA.DEC.443/169) regarding the divorce case of Ms. XXXXX and MrXXXXX, and we have been asked to convey the following. The delay in our response, owing to the pressure of work at the Bahá’í World Centre, is Regretted.

Your letters state that the couple has been legally granted a divorce, and refers to Documents previously sent by your Assembly as evidence of its occurrence. However, the documents in question, enclosed in your email letter of 19 November 2010, are Ms. XXXX petition to the court for a divorce—and not a legal document verifying that it has been granted—and a court order related to Mr. XXXXX contact with the children. If you have since received any legal documentation indicating that the divorce has been finalized, you may proceed to grant her a Bahá’í divorce.

Should you have any queries pertaining to the documentation associated with this case, they should be directed to the National Assembly of India, as it is in the best position to provide you with the information you may need.

With loving Bahá’í greetings,

Department of the Secretariat

My episode of leaving the fake "Haifan Baha'i Cult".

Dear Baha’i brothers and sisters,

Greetings to you all.

I introduced myself as unfortunate Baha'i father who was separated from his children by so called Baha’i wife.

I had two children and my wife divorced me because he had a previous lover. She took away my two children and never allowed them to meet me.

I kept on writings letters after letters to the higher Institution the NSA, the Counsellors and UHJ but without any result.

I have been given to understand that my wife has eloped with his previous lover who lives in America along with my two children. I have begged these institutions to help me trace my children but without any result. In fact these higher-ups in Baha'i Administration are doing nothing but enjoying my miseries as my wife is an Iranian and sister of a NSA member of an Eastern country.

When I used to keep my case in front of the Local spiritual Assembly of that city (A city in India) there were many members of my wife's family on the LSA and they would just shut their eyes on my case and give a unilateral judgment in favor of my wife.

When I put my case in front of the NSA , I could not get any justice from them too of meeting my children as the brother of my wife was on the NSA. He is a rich person and hence he could always get the judgment in his sister’s favor.

At the end I sought help from the one I used to believe as King of Kings, The Universal House of Justice and asked them to help trace my children and get control of them and to protect them from harmful and dangerous impulsiveness of my wife. But to my surprise the UHJ also kept on playing with legal words like the Legal Divorce and Baha'i divorce and so on.

As an unfortunate father I had no place to go I kept on contemplating and reflecting harder and harder day and night. How Baha'i Institutions can be so indifferent to Baha'i sufferings but at the same time if a Baha'i goes against the UHJ or put forward his suggestion or idea which is not of the liking of UHJ then the UHJ will issue him an abusive and threatening letter of excommunication and dire consequences of being declared as covenant breaker.
  • I have found out that every counsellor is divorced.
  • The immorality is at its zenith in the Baha'i Faith.
  • The Baha'i Administration is captured by influential Baha'is.
  • The members of higher institutions are unjust and infact cheaters.

I realized that this cannot be the True House of Justice because something is missing. Finally it was the WILL and TESTAMENT of our beloved Master 'Abdul Baha confirmed my doubt which says: The UHJ and Guardianship are the Twin Institutions.
